Adult members of SCTC compete throughout the year both individually and as a team. Members compete in a variety of races which include road, track and cross county races.
Every year the Pacific Association USATF Cross Country Grand Prix that features 10 dirt and grass running races throughout Northern California. Each 5K to 10K race is scored from both an individual and a team standpoint.
In addition to the Cross Country season, the Pacific Association USATF also hosts a Road racing Grand Prix. The Road Racing Grand Prix is comprised of an annual series of road racing events for individual runners. There are two categories: A “Short Series” for events 10K and shorter, and a “Long Series” for events 12K to the marathon distance. The season typically runs from early February through mid-December.
As a team, our focus is on personal improvement, comradery and competition. There is no limitation to how many people you can have on the team for the Cross Country series making this the ideal series for all types of performance levels. We welcome all levels of runners to participate in this series of races.
As individuals, the SCTC organization and coaching staff work with runners to support their individual goals in training and racing for any event throughout the year.
