I joined SCTC shortly after getting back to Santa Cruz after college. I didn’t run competitively before joining the club, and have loved every moment since…well at least the moments when I’m not dying in the middle of a track workout. I have raced everything from the 4x400 to half marathon. On top of that, I have brought my passion for running through coaching and have coached runners from middle school through college here in Santa Cruz. You can’t really beat running on the coast or in the mountains like you can here, and part of being on the SCTC board is to grow our running community and sharing the sport with as many people as possible. ​
